There are times when you want to raise the stakes and earn more when playing poker. Most players start playing poker at low stakes, but when they master the skills better and get on the winning side are eager to play for more money. The question is, what is more profitable: to raise the stakes or to play at multiple tables?
It is impossible to say that one of the options above is better than the other. However, while for some it will be better to play at higher stakes, for other players it will be much more convenient to multi-table.
If your playing style includes the following attributes, then you should try multi-table games instead of higher stakes:
- you are eager to get involved in the pot
- you hate waiting for some good pocket cards
- you try to win more small pots instead of a big one
- big bets scare you, you don't like to risk much on a single hand
- you easily go on tilt
Here are some playing style attributes that will recommend you to play higher stakes instead of multi table:
- patience is among your strong points
- you are cold blooded, you don't get emotional when it comes to big bets
- you prefer to watch all your opponents movements and understand their way of play
- you easily adapt to the table
- you usually try to get your hands on a big pot, instead of fighting for small wins
So, if you want to earn more money playing poker, you should try to see what kind of player you are and then choose to play multi-table or to increase the stakes.
